Abstract:
This report is designed for policy makers and practitioners. It details the steps in the first two phases of a project to provide the means to enable persons from culturally and linguistically diverse populations to recognize their learning disabilities and to access programs that appropriately address their needs. OVAE/DAEL began the process of development of protocols for LD issues with Spanish-speaking populations, because they are the largest group of non or limited-English speaking populations in the U.S.
