Abstract:
The intention of this fact sheet is to raise awareness about the nature of learning disabilities and their impact on the provision of literacy services. It includes a definition of learning disabilities in adults; a list of common elements found in many useful LD definitions; and a list of areas in which LD may affect life situations of adults.
