Abstract:
This a report of a study done to help the educator develop a philosophy and understanding for working with the learning disabled adult. Topics included are definitions, characteristics, adult learning theory, psychosocial adjustment, assessment and evaluation, review of tests, learning styles, teaching methods, program management, and employment. There is a bibliography and resources are suggested.
