This planning guide contains information for inmates headed for release on earning a General Education Development credential (GED), vocational certificate, or college degree. Topics range from setting personal educational goals and committing to a long-term education development plan to finding, accessing, and paying for an education program. The information on federal student financial aid for former inmates has been updated.
