Abstract:
This working paper examines nationally the relationship between developmental and adult education in community college settings, the nature of collaboration between the two programs in colleges that provide both kinds of courses, and characteristics that foster collaboration. The study upon which the paper is based includes a survey of Kellogg Fellows who participated in the developmental education leadership program of Appalachian State University.
