Abstract:
The guide outlines a start-up process to assist organizations and employers in gathering information and resources for developing and sustaining a program to help immigrants adjust to life in the United States and prepare for citizenship. Topics are program design and structure, staffing and resources, marketing to students, instructional resources and techniques, and program management. Sample forms, a glossary, and resources are included.
