Abstract:
This paper illustrates the relationship between ESL and ESL-Citizenship learner performance on CASAS reading tests and the amount of instruction learners received.The reading performance of 495,619 learners was studied. ESL/Citizenship learners who received more instruction attained greater gains on CASAS reading tests than learners receiving less instruction.
