Canvas Basics - An Introduction

Description

Canvas is a web-based learning management system that has both a free and subscription service. Canvas allows teachers to post assignments, schedules, enroll students, and post grades using a variety of customizable course creation and management tools.

This basic/introduction will explore the free version of Canvas to show educators how to create a course, add and organize materials, create assignments and customize their online classes. Tools and apps allowed within Canvas will also be explored and other topics as time allows.

Any adult education program that has or uses a licensed version of Canvas (subscription) can request this workshop to include options only available to  licensed accounts.
