OTAN periodically schedules special presentations of interest to the adult education field. These presentations address a wide variety of topics, including technology integration, online, distance, and blended learning, digital literacy, instructional resources, and emerging technologies. These presentations also inform the field of opportunities to participate in pilot programs, special events, sessions that explain the preparation of annual deliverables, and more.

May 28, 2019 - How the XPRIZE Code Unlocks a Winning App for your Learners! Part 2

Find out how to enroll your learners into the XPRIZE winning app Learning Upgrade at no cost with the XPRIZE Code! Your learners will have access to 21 courses including English, math, and GED®/HiSET® prep. Format Webinars: Synchronous online events of short duration (1-2 hours) in which subject matter experts present information.

Minimum System Requirements for Participating in Online Workshops:

  • Broadband Internet connection (DSL, Cable modem or faster, no dial-up).
  • Computer with speakers or headphones (some classes require microphones too).
  • Active e-mail account through registration for the course as an OTAN member.
  • Some workshops have other special requirements, please read the workshop descriptions carefully.
