Upcoming OTAN Activities to Support Adult Educators – Week of 1/4/2021

OTAN has scheduled a number of online webinars and Office Hours for our adult education colleagues who are teaching and supporting their learners remotely. (All times below are PST.)

  • The OTAN Office is closed for the holidays from Thursday, December 24 through Friday, January 1. Our office will open on Monday, January 4.

  • Visit OTAN's COVID-19 Field Support webpage that we are continually updating with relevant information for teachers, students, and administrators: COVID-19 Field Support

  • OTAN Office Hours provide an opportunity to ask more detailed questions and get support on specific tools to use with students. You can sign up for these OTAN Office Hours at the California Adult Education Training Calendar:

    • Tuesday, January 5 from 4:00 to 5:00pm

    • Thursday, January 7 from 12:00 to 1:00pm

  • On Friday at 1:00pm, Barry Bakin will present the January OTAN Tech Talk, 100% Online Instruction Doesn't Mean "No PBL!" Manage Online Project Based Learning (PBL) using common software, be it Office 365 or Google Suite for Education Apps. Projects to get your students "learning by doing" again are possible!
