Videos enhance our teaching and our classrooms. They promote self-paced learning with the ability to stop and rewind. But sometimes we are not sure what our students are getting out of the video. Would it not be great to have questions inserted into the video and then see how the students respond? Even better, add answer-specific feedback to help students learn even if they get the wrong answer.

The answer is eduCanon. It allows you to take videos from many video providers such as YouTube, Vimeo, or TeacherTube (screencasts, Khan Academy, Minute Physics, TED, NOVA, etc.) and add your own multiple choice questions. Then assign the video to your students and get a question-by-question breakdown of how they did. There is no limit to the number of videos or students you can include in your free account.

And it is so easy.

Find out just how easy in this month's Web-based Class Activity.
